grades.
Another pomt whtch has been brought up is whether
or not grades should be gh·en !or nctl\'tty courses such as
phySlcal education. At some coll~gcs cre.d1t is glVen for P.E.
classes but no grade is issued, such as the system here for
field ,v·ork and conference. Of course there almost has to be
sometll.ing to k'*P students attending clnsses which seem
to be the great function of grades. However, if Lhe student
• were graded on clnss attendance and mt,.rest jn the subject.
rather than his skill1t would be fairer. Some people are born
badminton l>layers and others do not ha\'e good enough
