and bylaws recommend . The
usual defense of thts betng,
"well, that's the way they dtd
tt last year!" (sigh) The bylaws require 81
charter tor any group
receiving ASLC money. At

went to unchartered groups.

gave $600 to the lnter­

Ecotoo 1S a subject which In mlnJ people's minds has become somewhat
worn the put few years. HardiJ a week coes by In wh1ch one dou not hear,
see. or read somethin& about this increaslnaly 1mportant problem.
Yet, in the nke of this &iant ana very recent ecoto&tcat movement, It is
the vie~mt of th1s 1fl'lter that the nst majonty ot the world's populations ,
technolo&ttal or not, coes larcely uninfluenced .
Whr such 1n todifferent response to such 1 loud cry for help? The answer
nn be most easily boiled down to the concept of poor ecoloaiul attitude. It
is a psycholociul fact that 1f one does not have the correct frame ol m1nd
tor an undertJkinc , the chances it will aet done properly 1re poor.
Man is continu1lly puttinc other aspects of hts culture ahead of thb
