BASKETRALL season at Albany this year proYcd that the won and lost columns ,ire
in no way indicatin: of a srorr's popularity in a school.
\Vith a record of 11 wins and 10 losses, Don Faber's hoopsters made ead1 conte·r .1 real
ball game and gave opponents a reason for maintaining a healthy respect for the Rues.
Al\\'ays providing thrills with their fast-breaking style of play, they were unbeatable
when their attack \\'as dicking, as when they toppled Oregon College of F.duc11io11 t\\·o
straight g,1mcs and nosed out I.infield in a wild mclcc at Mih\·aukic.
2G This season terminated the collegiate careers of Captain Charles Croston, Henry Pete
and Bill Brewster. Their long and meritorious service for the Orange anJ Black has
earned for them a place in the annals of Albany athletics that goes beyond mere com-
mendation.

Their long and meritorious service for the Orange anJ Black has
earned for them a place in the annals of Albany athletics that goes beyond mere com-
mendation.
