The Aubrey R. Watzek Library Special Collections and Archives’ research collections are available to the Lewis & Clark College campus and the larger community of scholars.
The collections are home to a wide range of rare and fragile books acquired by the College since its founding in 1867, including extensive materials on Northwest history, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, Charles Dickens, poetry, and small press publications. Lewis & Clark’s archival manuscript collections include the William Stafford Archives, the Karl Marlantes Papers, the John Callahan Literary Collection, the Women in Oregon/Abigail Scott Duniway Collection, and several collections related to World War II Civilian Public Service camps.
Tours of Special Collections and Watzek Library exhibit space are available by prior arrangement. Please contact email@example.com to request a tour.
